How the lift will perform over the years depends on the machine, controller, doors and ropes. We explain which of these components MP makes itself, which it sources from other manufacturers and what documents confirm this.

7Who does what
MP lifts are made in Spain, with components from specialist EU manufacturers, including German ones.
The specific components depend on the model and configuration. We add the exact list of safety components to the documents for your lift. The table shows typical names; on an individual lift they may differ.
MP makes the machine, controller, standard doors, car and frame itself at its plants in Seville and Zaragoza. Components for which there are highly specialised manufacturers, such as encoders or ropes, it buys from them.

7How the lift is built
MP makes this machine itself. It is gearless, with permanent magnets, so it has no gearbox that needs maintaining.

MP also makes the controller together with the inverter itself. While the lift is running, the controller monitors the electronics and batteries and keeps the voltage stable. For the service technician, it has a TEST mode at rated speed and a graphical console.

Of all the lift’s components, the doors operate most often. MP makes the SynGO car doors and Massen landing doors itself; the automatic doors are produced at the Seville plant.

Passengers do not see the ropes, overspeed governor, safety gear or door locks, yet their safety depends on them. MP makes most of the safety components itself, and they are certified by a notified body.

7What can be measured
All values are taken from the manufacturer’s documents, and each applies to the stated configuration. They can be applied to another lift only after checking.
7Manufacturer’s documents
MP’s quality system for the design, manufacture, assembly, installation and final inspection of lifts is certified under Module H1 of the EU Lifts Directive 2014/33/EU. The certificate was issued by TÜV Italia, Notified Body No. 0948, part of the TÜV SÜD group. MP safety components are certified under Modules E and H.

MP’s management systems are certified to ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 (TÜV NORD CERT). ISO 45001 applies to the group’s installation company, not to the plants. The H1 certificate is publicly available on the manufacturer’s website.

MP’s European certificate does not by itself apply in Ukraine and does not replace Ukrainian conformity assessment. Before commissioning, the lift undergoes conformity assessment under Ukraine’s Technical Regulation on Lifts (Cabinet of Ministers Resolution No. 438). We prepare the commissioning documents.
Partly: the machine, controller and doors of an MP lift are already specified in the quote, while the make of the ropes, guide rails and some of the protective devices is determined after the order is approved. We add the exact list of safety components to the documents for your lift.
