Hydraulic panoramic lifts
When an architect specifies a round glass car in the centre of a building, it is often made hydraulic. Below are three panoramic projects by MP, presented according to the manufacturer’s data.

MP Hydro speed depending on load
A hydraulic lift travels more slowly than a traction lift, and its speed drops further with heavier loads.

MP Hydro cars and shafts, 320-6500 kg
MP makes the machine-room-less Hydro only up to 1000 kg; heavier versions need a room for the hydraulics. The drawing shows a 630 kg car as an example.

Hydraulic lifts for hospitals, warehouses and extensions
The hydraulic layout is chosen where speed matters less than a car large enough for a bed or trolley.
The manufacturer’s catalogue includes hydraulic hospital bed lifts for 1000-2500 kg at 0.5 m/s, and goods lifts from 1500 kg. In the Cherkasy region, an add-on hydraulic MP hospital bed lift from 2017 with a 1300 × 2400 mm car is in operation. It was installed by another company.

Questions about MP Hydro
How does MP Hydro differ from the MP Mobi hydraulic platform?
MP Mobi is a vertical platform lift under EU machinery legislation, with a speed of 0.15 m/s and a pit from 200 mm. MP Hydro is a lift with a speed of 0.4-0.63 m/s and a pit from 1050 mm. If there is no pit and travel time does not matter, MP Mobi will suit you better.
Is MP Hydro a good choice for an apartment building?
Technically, MP Hydro can be installed in an apartment building if there are no more than six stops. For housing where the lift is used all day, we will first compare it with MP GO, which travels faster and can have more stops.
How many stops and how much travel does MP Hydro have?
According to the manufacturer’s website, MP Hydro has up to 6 stops, while the 2019 catalogue states 10. Recommended travel is up to 15 m; the maximum in the same catalogue is 27 m. If you need more than 6 stops or 15 m, we check this for your site.
