Platform lift with a pit from 200 mm

A typical MP GO needs more than a metre below the lowest stop, whereas MP Mobi needs a pit of only 200 mm, and even less on request. In an existing house this means you do not have to break up the floor slab for a deep pit.

These pit and headroom values apply to the version with compensatory safety measures. Without these measures, the pit is 645 mm and the headroom 2814 mm.

How a platform lift differs from a lift

Different legislationMP makes Mobi under EU machinery legislation, not under the Lifts Directive. That is why it is a vertical platform lift, and its documents differ from those of a lift.
Speed 0.15 m/sThe platform lift travels a 3 m floor in 20 seconds. That is enough for a private home or a wheelchair user, but an office where people are in a hurry needs MP GO.
No hold-to-run controlOne press of the button is enough; you do not need to hold it for the whole journey. The car has its own doors.

MP Mobi series: cars and shafts

The smallest series, S, is designed for two persons and the largest, 6XL, for thirteen. We have drawn the 4XL series separately.

The platform lift can be installed inside or outside a building. A panoramic finish is available in all series except 6XL.

What MP Mobi includes

MP Mobi comes with the following safety components, operating panels and power supply options.

Automatic rescue as standard, plus a manual rescue button on the power unit.
Rupture valve in the hydraulic system.
Mechanical stops in the pit and at the top of the shaft.
Operating panels FUSION and Full height column.
Power supply 380 / 400 / 415 V. Option: 230 V single-phase or 220 / 230 V three-phase.
Machine room not required, although a version with one is also available.

Questions about MP Mobi

Can MP Mobi be connected to a single-phase supply?

The standard MP Mobi power supply is three-phase, 380 / 400 / 415 V. Single-phase 230 V or three-phase 220 / 230 V is available as an option. In a private house we check the power supply during the site survey.

Will a wheelchair and an attendant fit?

Whether a wheelchair and an attendant will fit in MP Mobi is checked against the drawing of the internal car size for your series, because the table gives external car dimensions. We do not make such promises in advance.

Can the platform lift be installed outdoors?

Yes, MP Mobi works both inside and outside a building. We can build the shaft for it ourselves, as a glazed steel frame.

Does MP make inclined stair platform lifts?

No, MP does not make inclined platform lifts. MP Mobi moves only vertically, so it needs a shaft or a frame.
