How much does a lift cost
There are no prices on the website, because we calculate the cost for the specific shaft after a site survey. We explain what is included in the total and what is often left out of quotes.

Why there are no prices on the website
The price of a lift depends on the shaft and the building, so without a site survey any figure would be inaccurate.
The same eight-person lift may need only installation in one building, while in another it also needs a new pit, floor slab strengthening and new openings. A figure on the website would be either too low, leaving you to pay extra later, or too high for your building. That is why we calculate the cost for your shaft, and the site survey is free.
We represent MP in Ukraine. A lift is bought for many years, so we offer a lift you do not pay for twice. For this price you get Spanish manufacturing and components from specialist EU manufacturers, including German ones. The specific components depend on the model and configuration, and we add the exact list of safety components to the documents for your lift.
Once you know what makes up the total, it is easier to make sense of any quote, including ours.
What the cost of a lift includes
The total is made up of five parts. Some are visible in the quote straight away; others only emerge on site.
- EquipmentMachine or hydraulic power unit, controller, car, landing doors, guide rails, ropes. This part is easy to see in a quote, so it is usually the only part that gets compared.
- Building worksPit, headroom, floor slab strengthening, steel-frame shaft, glazing. Some quotes do not include these works, and then comparing the totals makes no sense.
- Delivery and installationTransport to site, lifting to the floors, installation and adjustment, and, if the lift is being replaced, dismantling of the old one.
- Documents and commissioningTogether with the equipment, we provide the EU declarations of conformity and safety component certificates, manuals, diagrams and a document of origin. Before commissioning, the lift undergoes conformity assessment under the Technical Regulation on Lifts; we prepare the documents for this.
- ServiceIt is usually not included in the purchase price, but you will be paying for it for as long as the lift is in operation. Details on the Service and spare parts page.
What affects the cost most
We list everything in the order in which we ourselves assess a project.

| Building | Whether there is a shaft, what it is like and whether anything needs to be built. This affects the cost most of all, so before replacing a lift we first inspect the existing shaft. |
|---|---|
| Load and stops | Each stop means one more landing door and one more call panel. |
| Drive | Machine-room-less (MP GO), with a machine room (MP GO Room, MP V) or hydraulic (MP Hydro). The choice is mostly dictated by the building. |
| Lift car | From powder-coated steel and stainless steel to cars with glass and photo printing. See examples among the ready-made cars. |
| Glass | Panoramic lift, glass shaft, tinting. The manufacturer prices tinting as a separate option. |
| Standards | With MP, EN 81-70, EN 81-71, EN 81-72 and EN 81-73 are options. If you need them, state them in the brief from the outset. |
5Checklist
How to compare two quotes
This checklist will help you compare two quotes, including ours. In each, mark what is stated explicitly. An empty line is not necessarily a flaw, but it is worth asking about before you compare the totals.
| What should be stated | Quote A | Quote B |
|---|---|---|
| Equipment | ||
| Make and model. The manufacturer, model and drive type are stated, without the note “or equivalent”. | ||
| Load, stops, speed. These match in both quotes, as does the travel. | ||
| Car size. It is stated whether the size is external or internal, and what the clear door opening is. | ||
| Finishes. There are codes or samples for the walls, ceiling, floor and handrails. The single word “stainless steel” is not enough. | ||
| Landing doors. The material on each floor and the fire resistance class are stated. | ||
| Rescue. What the car does when the power goes off: travels to a floor on its own or waits for a technician. | ||
| Construction works | ||
| Pit and headroom. Who builds them and whether this work is included in the total. | ||
| Strengthening and frame. Whether floor slabs, brackets, the steel frame and glazing are accounted for. | ||
| Power supply. Who runs the cable to the control cabinet and who does the earthing. | ||
| Dismantling. If the lift is being replaced, whether removal of the old one, its disposal and filling in the openings are included in the total. | ||
| Installation and documents | ||
| Delivery to site. Including unloading, lifting to the floors and customs clearance if the equipment is imported. | ||
| Installation as a separate line. Including scaffolding, rigging and start-up and adjustment. | ||
| Manufacturer’s documents. EU declaration of conformity, safety component certificates, manuals, diagrams. | ||
| Commissioning. Who handles conformity assessment under the Technical Regulation on Lifts and whether it is included in the total. | ||
| Ukrainian language. Voice announcements and display text. | ||
| After start-up | ||
| Maintenance. Who maintains the lift and on what terms. The terms are set out in a separate proposal. | ||
| Spare parts. Where they are ordered from and how long they take to reach you. | ||
| Remote monitoring. Whether it is provided, what it shows and who has access. | ||
| Warranty. What it covers and from what date, separately for the equipment and the installation. | ||
| Stated, out of 19 | 0 | 0 |
The checklist works for any quote, and we are also happy to go through ours with you line by line.
Questions about cost
How much does a new lift cost?
We give the price of a new lift after a site survey, which is free. The total depends on the building, the load, the number of stops and the finishes. To start with, you can build a car in the configurator or call us.
How much does it cost to install a lift?
The cost of installation depends on the building. If the shaft is ready and plumb, that is one scope of work; if a pit or frame has to be built, it is quite another. In the quote we show these works as separate lines.
Why do different companies quote such different totals?
Different companies most often price a different scope of work: one total may exclude the building works and dismantling, while another includes them. The checklist on this page shows what is included in each.
What do you need to calculate the cost?
To calculate the cost, we need the lift’s purpose, the number of stops, and the shaft dimensions or the building design. If you do not have these yet, leave your name and phone number, and an engineer will clarify the rest.
Are documents and conformity assessment included?
Yes, we prepare the commissioning documents. Together with the equipment, we hand over the EU declarations of conformity, safety component certificates, manuals and diagrams.
