MP GO: machine-room-less lift
MP GO is a machine-room-less passenger lift for residential buildings, offices and hotels. The gearless machine sits in the shaft itself, and the car is designed for 4-21 persons.

Gearless machine-room-less lift
The manufacturer calls this model MP GO! Evolution. It does not need a separate room at the top, because the machine is located in the shaft.

Who it is for. MP GO suits new residential buildings, offices and hotels where it would be a pity to give up the roof or top floor to a machine room. If the building is still at the design stage and the pit and headroom can be planned in advance, we recommend considering this model first.
maGO machine. MP makes this gearless permanent-magnet machine itself; its sound power level is below 44 dBA. According to the manufacturer’s technical description, its encoder is a Heidenhain ECN 413 from the German company HEIDENHAIN.

Values separated by a slash are for 1.0 and 1.6 m/s. Dimensions are given for a concrete shaft and T2 doors, the car in external dimensions per the manufacturer’s table, internal height 2100 mm. With C2 centre-opening doors the shaft is wider: 1950 mm for 630 kg. The exact dimensions for your site will be on the drawing.
Options for restricted conditions
- Headroom from 3000 mm per EN 81-21; a special version down to 2500 mm is possible on request.
- Headroom from 2900 mm for new buildings and lifts for more than 8 persons, using the manufacturer’s certified solution.
- Pit from 695 mm per EN 81-21; a special version from 400 mm is possible on request.
- Single-phase 230 V supply for a limited range: up to 630 kg at 0.5 m/s or up to 450 kg at 1 m/s.
What the lift does when the power fails
Power outages are frequent in Ukraine, so this function matters. If the power fails, the MP GO car travels to the nearest stop on its own and opens the doors.
- Automatic rescue devicePart of the standard specification. There are also two electrically assisted manual rescue modes.
- Millimetre-accurate levellingBuilt into gearless lifts. The car stops flush with the landing floor, so trolleys do not catch on the sill.
- ecoGO controllerMonitors the electronics and batteries and maintains a stable voltage. The controller can be serviced remotely via the sigma4lifts platform; access requires registration, and the scope depends on the option ordered.

Noise, vibration and energy consumption
Below are MP GO performance figures from the manufacturer: noise, vibration, jerk and energy consumption.

The 516 kWh figure is calculated for an MP GO with 630 kg, 6 stops, 1 m/s in the standard specification, usage category 2, per VDI 4707 and ISO 25745-2. For a different configuration it will differ. Environmental Product Declaration EPD-IES-0015675 (International EPD System) is independently verified and valid until 18.07.2029.

The basic design standard for MP GO is EN 81-20/50:2020. Optional additions: EN 81-21 for existing buildings, EN 81-70 for accessibility, EN 81-71 for vandal resistance, EN 81-72 for firefighters, EN 81-73 for behaviour in the event of fire, EN 81-77 for seismic conditions. MP landing doors have E 120 or EI 60 fire resistance per EN 81-58, but this does not apply to glass panoramic doors. We prepare voice announcements and display texts in Ukrainian ourselves for each lift.

Questions about MP GO
How many stops can MP GO have?
According to the manufacturer’s website, MP GO can have up to 32 stops, while its other documents state 16 stops and 50 m of travel. So we confirm up to 16 stops straight away and check a higher number for the specific site.
What is MP GO 200x?
MP GO 200x is a version of MP GO without a separate control cabinet, with the MP Logix 40 controller built into the door frame. It is designed for 450-1000 kg, 6-13 persons and up to 16 stops. We do not have a standard pit and headroom table for it, so we take the dimensions from the drawing.
Is a panoramic MP GO available?
Yes, a panoramic finish for MP GO can be ordered as an option. Glass options are described on the panoramic lifts page, and we take the shaft dimensions for a glass car from a separate drawing.
Can MP GO replace an old lift?
MP GO can replace an old lift if the shaft matches the table or the lift can be adapted to it. For a narrow shaft in an old building, MP Flex is chosen more often. We will give a final answer after the site survey.
