Hospital bed lift car
This is a deep 1600 kg car for a hospital. Trolleys and beds are wheeled into such a lift, and the walls are washed far more often than in an ordinary one.

There is no decorative trim in the car; every material was chosen for how it withstands disinfection and impacts.

Why there is no mirror here, but there is a bumper rail
There is no mirror in this car, because in a hospital lift trolleys can damage it and it needs separate cleaning. Instead, the walls have a bumper rail, and handrails are fitted on three sides, because a person accompanying a patient stands in a different place from an ordinary passenger.
The walls are Viliter series steel with a white powder-coated finish and are easy to wash. The floor is 3 mm rubber, green R18 Roof Garden, with an antibacterial coating. Rubber has no seams to clean out, and wheels roll over it quietly. The L98 ceiling with two narrow strips gives even light. A patient travelling lying down looks at the ceiling the whole time, so we do not recommend spotlights here.
Buttons, voice and door protection
- Style with BrailleMetal tactile button, EN 81-70, IPx2. In this car the accessibility mode is enabled; for MP lifts it is ordered as an option.
- Voice announcementsWe record the floor and department names in Ukrainian ourselves, separately for each lift. The texts for a surgical block and an outpatient clinic will differ.
- Light curtainIncluded as standard on MP GO, together with electronic load weighing. The doors will not close on a trolley that is entering slowly.
Why a 1600 kg rated load
A 1600 kg load and a 1400 × 2400 mm car (outer dimension per the manufacturer’s catalogue) correspond to type CH 90. This means a 900 × 2000 mm bed and a second attendant at the side. 1300 mm centre-opening doors give the bed a wide entry. We have shown the other options to scale on the Hospital bed lift page. We always check clear entry against the internal dimension drawing.
For a narrower shaft, a 1275 kg car, 1200 × 2400 mm, with 1000 mm doors and an attendant only at the head or the foot will do. A 1000 × 2300 mm bed needs a 2000 kg car. In the configurator this is a single change, but in the project it also changes the shaft dimensions.
