San Luis is a round panoramic car with glass all the way round. This type is in MP’s range, but its dimensions and shaft are calculated individually for each building.

Where a round car makes sense
A round car makes sense where the building itself dictates this shape, for example in an atrium with a circular plan, in a free-standing shaft, in a museum or a theatre. In an ordinary lobby it takes up more space for the same number of people, and we will tell you so plainly at the sketch stage.
The car has smooth clear glass without facets, a ring handrail on the glass, a ring light in a satin stainless steel ceiling, satin steel frames and a black granite floor. The shaft, built on a self-supporting frame with clear glass, can be seen right through. Such a structure weighs differently from a standard one, so it is calculated separately.

Questions about the round car
Why is 1000 kg stated here, but the doors are only 900 mm?
1000 kg and a 900 mm door is the initial round-car configuration for display. A round car is not selected from a table, so we agree the load, diameter and doors with the manufacturer for your project.
Can this car be made for a traction machine?
The examples shown by the manufacturer are mostly hydraulic. We determine the drive type together with an MP engineer, depending on the travel and the space available for equipment.
