Panoramic car in an atrium
This panoramic lift is intended for an atrium or a large lobby. The Murano car has three glass walls, and the shaft stands on a self-supporting steel frame, which we design first.

Three glass walls in mirror-polished stainless steel frames
In a lobby, such a car is seen from different sides, so we select the frames, glass and floor together.

Murano car and glass shaft

In the Murano car, the left, rear and right walls are glazed almost to full height, and the Big vision doors are glazed as well. A typical car has outer dimensions of 1100 × 1400 mm. The frames are made of X12 mirror-polished stainless steel; they reflect the surrounding space and are therefore less noticeable. The ceiling is black with an L24 light grid, and the “white crystal” granite floor reflects the overhead light, making the car brighter.
An atrium usually has no ready-made shaft, so this car is shown on a self-supporting steel frame with clear glass. Such a structure puts little load on the building, but it is calculated separately. We build the frame and glazing ourselves, with our own crews.
What to consider before the estimate
- Fire resistanceGlass doors are supplied without a fire resistance rating. If the lift is on an escape route, we agree this with the designer before installation.
- Handrail on glassA handrail is mandatory on a glass wall. A tubular handrail barely obstructs the view.
- SunGlass in an atrium heats up and causes glare. If the lobby is on the sunny side, consider a car with tinted glass.
MP panoramic projects abroad
All three projects are outside Ukraine; according to the manufacturer, they were carried out by MP itself.
| Palace of Charles V, Alhambra | Granada. A glass car in a UNESCO heritage site, with no changes to the shaft structure. |
|---|---|
| Metropol Parasol | Seville. Two lifts with custom-designed cars, created together with architect Jürgen Mayer. |
| Caja Mágica | Madrid. 24 lifts, including panoramic and goods lifts. |
Where to start a panoramic project
The panoramic version is an option of MP GO or MP Mobi, so speed, load and pit depend on the base lift. First we decide where the structure will stand and what will be visible through the glass, then we choose the model, and then the glass. More on this on the Panoramic lift page.

Panoramic car in 3D
You can view the car from all sides and change the frames and shaft glass. To calculate the frame, we will need the lobby plan and the floor heights.
